What is Shoulder Dislocation?
A shoulder dislocation is when the upper arm bone (humerus) pops out of the joint’s cup shaped socket formed by your shoulder blade (scapula). The shoulder is an extremely mobile joint and is the most dislocated joint in the body. Due to the mobility of the joint, the shoulder is able to dislocate forward, backwards or even downward.
